Returns
Satisfaction with your Carswell product is guaranteed. If you are not completely satisfied, you may return the product within 30 days from the invoice date along with the invoice marked “cancelled”. Full credit will be granted only if the product is returned in re-saleable condition.
Claims
Claims for missing subscription material should be made upon receipt of the subsequent issue or part. Claims for items billed and shipped as published should be made within 30 days of the invoice appearing in MyAccount. MyAccount is available online and gives you direct access to your Carswell account information. Call our Customer Relations team for more details about our MyAccount service.
All other claims should be made within 30 days of receiving the next subscription mailing.
Cancellations
Print and Electronic Products
For subscription renewals, a renewal notice will be sent out 60 days prior to the start of the renewal period. Full credit will be granted if Carswell is notified of cancellation within the 60-day advance renewal period. Cancellation after the start of the renewal period will be pro-rated.
Opening the shrink wrap on a CD-ROM constitutes your acceptance and agreement to be bound by the terms and conditions of the separately enclosed Licence Agreement.
This policy may vary for products where Carswell is acting as the distributor for another publisher.
Online Services
Subscribers not completely satisfied with the products ordered may cancel the order within 30 days of the original invoice date for a full refund or credit.
Subscription cancellations made between 31 and 90 days from the original invoice date must be in writing. Credit for the cancelled product will be pro-rated effective the last day of the following month (for example, a cancellation requested April 19 will be credited effective May 31).
Subscription cancellations for the period between 60 and 90 days from the original invoice date are subject to an administration fee equivalent to one month service plus applicable taxes.
Requests for credit made 91 days or later from the original invoice date will not be accepted. Subscribers are responsible for the payment of all invoices until the contract period has expired.
Online Services Renewal Cancellations
Requests for credit and/or cancellation must be received in writing no later than 30 days after the renewal date. If payment for the first subscription renewal invoice has been received by Carswell, or if the service is used after the renewal date, requests for credit and/or cancellation will not be accepted and you will be responsible for payment of all invoices until the contract period has expired.
