Customer Development
Carswell’s Customer Development Team is one of the core junctures of
our Sales/Marketing cycle. They identify, initiate and nurture
relationships, both over the phone and via e-mail, with decision makers
and qualify sales opportunities for our Online Field Representatives.
Your duties will include:
· phoning and emailing potential/current customers;
· internally communicating with Sales Representatives and Team Leader;
· preparing regular weekly and monthly reports to Team Leader;
· trying to meet target and objectives;
· following company policies and procedures; and
· documenting and updating database information.
You will be a strong team player and will possess:
· a post secondary education or business equivalent;
· outbound business-to-business phone marketing or sales experience;
· the ability to navigate corporate structures and to identify decision makers;
· typing and Excel reporting skills;
· excellent verbal and written communication skills;
· disciplined, organized and positive work ethics;
· active listening and adaptive skills; and
· PC skills - MS Office and Window.
