Business Analyst
As a Business Analyst you will be primarily accountable for the preparation of requirements, content specifications, user interface specifications, use cases, management of defect lists during the project lifecycle whilst continuing to support existing products.
Your duties will include:
· performing or assisting with research for all assignments;
· liaising with various business units from ideation to implementation for systems, products and features development;
· identifying and drafting Charter, Requirement and other documents as required;
· preparing prototype mock-ups for online product line – new services and enhancements;
· preparing use cases;
· assisting with the preparation of test plans and test cases;
· participating in gathering necessary material during the project lifecycle;
· status reporting to internal customers and steering committees when required;
· managing the issue log and overseeing the successful escalation and assignment of issues related to business requirements delivery;
· chairing of various meetings such as cross-functional team meetings;
· managing multiple assignments and deliverables at the same time;
· becoming very conversant in whatever area of the business that a given project touches; and
· providing escalating support for business/technical issues. As needed coordinated incident handling with I.S. for final resolution.
You will be a strong team player and will possess:
· a university degree in Computer Science, Software Design or related fields – or equivalent experience;
· 3-5 years’ experience in a business analyst or comparable role;
· knowledge in use cases definition and practice of structured methodologies;
· strong inter-personal, presentation and problem-solving skills;
· exceptional written and verbal English communication skills;
· ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment;
· the ability to be results-oriented, a continuous learner and flexible; and
· the ability to pick up projects mid stream, be a self starter and requires minimal supervision.
UML experience will be considered an asset.
